原島 一桂 (the "Company") sets this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") for how personal information is handled in the fitness logging application "GRIT" (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

To provide the Service, we may collect the following information.

Account information

• Email address
• Password (stored in encrypted form)
• Display name
• Profile image URL

Training data

• Workout history (date and time, muscle group, exercise, sets, weight, reps, and similar details)
• Training menus and program contents
• Notes taken during a workout
• Custom exercise information

Timeline data

• Workout history published to the timeline
• Profile information (display name and profile image)

Usage information

• Device information (operating system, device model, and similar details)
• How the app is used (crash logs, performance data, and similar details)
• Access logs

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

• Providing, operating, and improving the Service
• Authenticating users and managing accounts
• Providing workout logging and analysis
• Providing the timeline
• Providing paid plans and managing billing
• Responding to inquiries
• Responding to violations of the Terms of Use
• Sending important notices about the Service
• Creating statistics (after processing the data so that it does not identify an individual)

3. Storage and management

User information and training data are stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL). Authentication information is managed by Supabase Auth. We take necessary and appropriate measures to keep personal information secure, including preventing leakage, loss, or damage.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not provide a user’s personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

• When the user has consented
• When required by law
• When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property
• When we provide it to a contractor (we supervise the contractor appropriately)

5. External services

The Service uses the following external services.

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Cloudflare (API hosting)
• Apple (App Store payments, Sign in with Apple, and Health and Apple Watch when you connect them)
• Google (Sign in with Google)

Inquiry contents are forwarded to the operator’s notification destination (Slack) so we can receive and respond. Google Play billing is not used. For each service’s privacy policy, see that provider’s website.

6. Information published through the timeline

If you use the timeline, your workout history and profile information are shown to other users. See the in-app settings for how to choose what is public and how to make it private.

7. Exporting and deleting data

You can ask us to delete your data. A data export feature is in preparation. To delete your account, contact us at the address below.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

This website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may then be unavailable.

9. Use by minors

If you are under 18, use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s consent.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Policy when necessary. The revised Policy takes effect when it is posted on this website.
